Prognosis of the disease conditionally favorable, with adequate immune status and in those not at risk while the disease is less than 2 weeks and ends with complete recovery. Employability is fully restored.

Depressed immunity, as well as by persons at risk may develop severe, life-threatening complications.

It should be noted that the mortality rate when infected with the virus does not exceed the mortality rate in the defeat of the other strains. According to the Harvard School of Public Health (based on statistics collected in the United States, and the model calculations), the mortality rate from swine Influenza is 0,007% of the number of cases. This is lower than that of some forms of normal seasonal influenza.
